Review: A Traitor Sister is book 2 in the Remnants of the Fallen Kingdom series and closely follows A Cursed Son. However, while I loved book 1 very much, this book 2 was a mess and didn't work for me at all.

First, we go from a book with two main characters and written almost 100% from Astra's point of view, to a second book with over six main characters and alternating points of view from all of them. I dived into A Traitor Sister wanting to know more about Astra and Marlak's story, but they are apart for most of the plot, dealing with their own issues, and apparently lost a lot of the connection they seemed to have in the first book. And since they are so many other points of view, parallel plots and even a couple of almost instant romances thrown in, I kind of lost track of them.

Second, the plot complicates so much that it's hard to follow, and some parts make no sense at all. I could't understand at all what was happening at the end of the book and even though it, again, ends at a cliffhanger, this time I'm not inclined at all to move forward onto book 3. Maybe I'll read it someday. And then, maybe not.

Happy readings!
