Review: Dr. Perfect

Book Review: Dr. Perfect, by Louise Bay, 4 stars

They call him Dr. Perfect.

I call him Dr. Aloof, Dr. Arrogant, Dr. If-you're-going-to-fire-me-just-get-it-over-with.

If I had other options, I'd quit, but I need this job. Badly. So I jump at the chance to impress him by hand-delivering some important documents.

Yes, he's staying on a remote Scottish Island, but I've got it covered...

Until the ferry back is cancelled, there are no hotels on the island and there's a storm headed our way.

So I'm snowed in with my impossibly handsome boss, who barely knows my name, in a tiny one-bedroom cottage in the middle of nowhere.

But unlike the snow outside, his icy stare is beginning to melt and we don't need a generator to keep it warm inside.

A standalone, grumpy sunshine romance.

Genre: contemporary romance

Publication date: April 2023

Mature content: yes

Review: Loved it, probably one of my favorite Louise Bay books so far, at least in terms of plot. Maybe a bit rushed here and there, and the amazing book deal Zach manages to close in such a short time seemed slightly too good to be true, but overall Dr. Perfect is a pretty good romance novel.

Dr. Perfect is book two in the Doctors series by Louise Bay, but although it is announced as a stand alone, there are lots of secondary characters that come either from book one or from other interconnected books by the same author. I would recommend reading at least book one (Dr. Off Limits) beforehand.

Happy readings!
