As epic meet-cutes go, travel photographer, Winter Knowles thinks finding a gorgeous naked man outside her Thailand villa is pretty perfect. But then she discovers the naked heartthrob is none other than Dr Logan Spencer, her gruff standoffish (but sexy as hell) jungle expedition leader.
Dr Logan is on the mission of a lifetime. There’s a lost city of gold to discover and he doesn’t need any distractions - especially not the stubborn, sassy beautiful photographer type! His reputation is on the line.
These arch rivals get off on the wrong foot. But when the heat rises in the jungle, Winter and Logan are forced together in the face of danger. Is trusting someone with your life the best meet-cute of all?
Genre: contemporary romance
Publication date: June 2023
Mature content: yes, but nothing overly graphical
Review: Cute and fun book, that closely follows The Love Theorem in terms of timeline, although with different main characters (and yes, it can be perfectly read as a stand alone).
My only issue with Love Quest (and the reason it's getting just four stars) has to do with the romance between Logan and Winter. They sort of go from hating and avoiding each other to being in love, with little transition (and interactions) in between.
This made the romance part of the book a little too unconvincing for my taste. Other than that, the first part of the books is fun almost all the way and the last part, while a bit more serious, is full of action and adventure.
Happy readings,
