Review: The Nurse He Shouldn't Notice is an older book by Susan Carlisle and one that made me remember the Harlequin and Mills & Boon books from the eighties and nineties. Just the title alone made me think of those, and it's comforting to realise Harlequin books haven't changed all that much since then.

And...it's actually pretty good, if you care about this genre. Maybe it's a combination of the setting and the plot background - because the lack of medical resources in under developed and developing countries is, unfortunately, still very much a reality. Maybe it's the main characters, as I loved them both. Or maybe it's just because I was missing the no-strings attached distraction of reading one of these books again.

I actually enjoyed The Nurse He Shouldn't Notice very much and while it's out-of-this world amazing, it still accounts for a few well spent hours.

Happy readings!
