Review: I absolutely loved reading Overkill and I couldn’t put it down right from the first pages. I just wish it hadn’t taken about a month for the Kindle version to be released. While deep down I still prefer to read paper books, the amount of space they take at home is just not manageable when you read as much as I do, not to mention that it seems to me way lighter on the environment if you reduce the amount of print copies. I’m glad I waited for the electronic version, though it was not easy…

Onto the book. I have a feeling the main characters deserved a bit more of depth, but the plot itself is so well crafted there is no way you can’t feel pulled into the story, desperately wanting to know more both of what happened in the past - the dramatic event that left Rebecca tied to a hospital bed for the rest of her life and ultimately ended Zach’s career - and what is happening now - the decisions Zach faces, his involvement with Kate (the state prosecutor who now wants to make sure the man responsible for Rebecca’s situation is convicted of murder) and the great array of secondary characters.

Anyway, if you love the genre this is a book you shouldn’t miss.

 Happy readings,
