Thatcher Hutton, a war-weary soldier on the way back to his cowboy life, jumps from a moving freight train to avoid trouble . . . and lands in more than he bargained for. Review: I absolutely loved reading this book. If it’s not Sandra Browns’s best, it is certainly close. There’s no way no avoid becoming engrossed in the story and the characters, right from the first pages. There are many twists and turns, and when you think you have it all figured out, then the story is moving in totally different direction. Bonus points for an original setting and a time and place I enjoyed learning more about. 

 

Thatcher in one of my favorite male characters ever. Laurel…not su much. Although it’s an integral part of the story, I wish she hadn’t embraced criminal activities with such enthusiasm.

In any case, this is a book you’ll not be able to put down and I totally recommend it.
