Review: A Wedding in December is an amazing book. Besides being just the perfect read for the holidays season, it's way, way more than just a Christmas novel. And instead of one you actually get three love stories.

Rosie and Dan are getting married on Christmas eve, after a whirlwind romance. But Rosie has always been too impulsive, rarely keeping her interest in something (or someone) for long. The pressure of getting married in just a few days starts to make her question if Dan is really the one or if he's going to be just one more.

Katie, Rosie's older sister, leaves England for Colorado intent on stopping Rosie's wedding, believing she is making a mistake. But Katie's live is far from perfect too, and lately she's been questioning her career and her life choices. For her, Christmas in Colorado will also bring new beginnings.

Maggie and Nick, Rosie and Katie's parents have been married for thirty five years but lately have drifted apart and are headed towards divorce. No wanting to tell either of their daughters the truth right before Rosie's wedding, they travel together to Colorado and decide to put up appearances to make everyone believe they are still happily married.  But sometimes appearances are deceiving even though intent on the deception.

It's easy to identify yourself with at least one of the characters because they feel real. Yes, there is a happy ending for everyone in the book, but some soul-baring conversations have to take place before all the misunderstandings are cleared. Overall, it's a heartwarming story that I just couldn't put down. Totally recommended.

 Happy readings,
