Review: In Her Sights

Book Review: In Her Sights, by Katie Ruggle, 5 stars

 ✩✩

Bounty hunter Molly Pax fought hard for everything she has, turning the bail recovery business she shares with her sisters into an unqualified success. So when their sticky-fingered mother jumps bail and puts the childhood home up as collateral, Molly's horrified. To make matters worse, every two-bit criminal in the Rockies now sees her family's misfortune as their next big break.
She needs help, stat.
Enter rival bounty hunter John Carmondy: six feet of pure trouble, with a cocky grin to match. John's the most cheerfully, annoyingly gorgeous frenemy Molly's ever had the pleasure of defeating...and he may be her only hope of making it out of this mess alive.

Review: I loved In Her Sights. To be honest, I believe this is the best book I've read so far by Katie Ruggle. It's probably not as spectacular as some of the others in terms of action scenes but, exactly because of that, it's much more realistic.

Molly and John are great together, their romance is sweet without being too overwhelming, and there are lots of really funny scenes that will put a smile on your face.

Yes, there are one or two small holes in the plot, and of course we are served a cliffhanger in the end, but overall I found it a great book and a good start to a new series, and I'll be waiting for the next installment to come out (Risk It All (Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters), scheduled for December)

Happy readings,
