Veterinarian Wade Roberts is done with love. But try convincing the elderly folk of Cape Harmony who are determined to play matchmaker. Now the young single women in town are bombarding him with baked goods and love notes, and being "taken" is the only way to stop the meddling grannies--which is why he needs a fake fiancée. Fast.
Arden Pearson loves planning weddings. Other people's weddings, that is. After her own engagement ended in disaster, she prefers to live vicariously through her work. But when she needs to persuade a big client that she's capable of planning the celebrity wedding of the year, she's willing to go as far as pretending to be engaged herself to her best friend's older brother.
Soon their ruse has everyone in town believing they make the perfect couple--including Arden. She's always been nothing more than a kid sister to Wade, and it might take a village to convince him otherwise...

Review: Catch Him if You Can is a funny, heartwarming romance novel. Wade and Arden have been friends for years. Growing up Arden had a serious crush on Wade, her best friend's older brother. And Wade could have been interested in her also, but not dating his sister's friends is a long standing rule for him, and not one he's keen on breaking any time soon.

But then the town's matchmakers decide that Wade has been alone for too long (he's been widowed for a few years) and put on a campaign to find him a girlfriend. At the same time, Arden lands a high standing client that could save her wedding planner business, but the client requires Arden to be engaged prior to signing the contract.

And of course, the rest is history. Wade wants a fake girlfriend to deflect the matchmakers. Arden needs a fiancĂ© to save her business. They start a fake engagement that somewhere along the way turns into a real relationship.

The first part of the book is downright hilarious in places. The second part is more slow moving and obviously a lot predictable, but Catch Him if You Can is still a great book that will leave you with smile on your face.

Catch Him if You Can is book two in the Accidentally Yours series, but can perfectly be read as a stand alone.

Happy readings,
