Holly is dealing with the impending death of her grandmother and still reeling from a bad breakup. One bright spot: a Valentine’s Day card on Holly’s windshield—even if it wasn’t meant for her. An amusing mistake soon turns into a lovely exchange of anonymous notes, little acts of kindness, and a growing affection between two strangers. What happens when one of them has to say goodbye?
Genre: contemporary romance
Publication date: January 2024
Mature content: no
Review: Cute and fun, but way too short. Holly and John meet just at the end of the book. All throughout the story they exchange messages and even see each other without really knowing eachother. I would have preferred a bit more insight into their post-meeting life, or at least on their actual first date. As it is, Worst Wingman Ever feels more like a teaser than even a short story.
Happy readings,
