Review: I really liked book one in this Difficult Dukes series (read by review of A Duke in Shining Armor), and I loved this second book even more.
The first part of the story is absolutely hilarious. It's impossible not to love Cassandra and, for all the misgivings about Ashmont, you can't help but root for him too.
Also, the issue I had with book one (the main characters falling in love way too quickly) is definitely not repeated in Ten Things I Hate About the Duke.
Ten Things I Hate About the Duke happens, in terms of timeline, just after the end of
A Duke in Shining Armor and while it can be read as a stand alone, my advice would be to read both books in the correct order.
Also, now I can't wait for book three, to understand what happened between the last of the Difficult Dukes and his estranged wife...
