Working in the shadows, CIA Officer Patrick Killion needs to figure out if feisty frog biologist, Audrey Lockhart, is a deadly assassin or an innocent scapegoat. And the only way to do that is to gain her trust.

Review: Of all the books by Tony Andersson I've read so far, Cold in the Shadows was the one that I found the least convincing. The basic plot idea is interesting and I can't say the story is not fast paced. But most of the situations Patrick and Audrey find themselves in? Yes, they work on paper, but would they even make sense in real life? How could Patrick fall in love with a woman that he's convinced is a criminal, especially when she's been unconscious for most of the time in the first part of the book. And how can Audrey reciprocate once she realises she's been abducted, not saved, by Patrick? Really? 

So even if the action part of the book was Ok, the romance didn't work for me. If you've read the other books in the series (they can all be read as stand alones), you may want to give this one a try. If not, then there are much better books in this Cold Justice series.
