Genre: contemporary romance

Publication date: October 2019 (although it's a re-print from a 2011 book)

Mature content: yes

Review: I admit I didn't have a lot of expectations about The Christmas Set-Up - with it being an older Jill Shalvis book (it's back from 2011) and a short story to boot. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

For such a limited plot, the characters are actually well developed and the story (what little there is of it) is rather interesting.

The happily ever after is perhaps a bit too cheesy, but overall this is a book that will put a smile on your face.

Happy readings,
