Review: When I started reading The Design, I was prepared for another predictable mainstream romance novel. And in a way, it is. But there's a lot more to it too. Yes, the general direction of the plot is predictable, in the sense that you can feel almost from the beginning what the happily-ever-after is going to be.

However, the author manages to turn an otherwise plain love story in a very interesting narrative. I was a bit thrown off when Grayson announced to Cammie that he was attracted to her. I kind of felt he should have kept that to himself. But in any case, I was glued to the book page after page, trying to see what Cammie's move would be next, and whether she'd end up going to Paris or not.

I'm not going to share spoilers here, but if you love contemporary romance and if you don't mind a few spicy scenes, then I recommend you this book.

Happy readings,
