Review: In Want of a Wife is book two in the Bitter Springs series by Jo Goodman and it may just be my favorite. I loved it from page one right until the very last word, and I'm sorry to see it end. Just like book one (The Last Renegade) and book two (True to the Law),
it has a great plot, good suspense and a lovely romance. Although most of the characters in the little town of Bitter Springs have shown up in the previous books, In Want of a Wife can be perfectly read as a stand alone
book.
If you enjoy romance novels in general and historical romance in particular, this is a book you should not miss. In addition to the love story, it has the right dose of suspense to keep you up late at night. Totally recommended.
